Formerly known as the KGSP Korean Government Scholarship Program, GKS 2024 replaced it. This master’s and PhD program is totally sponsored by scholarships. The Korean government is funding this scholarship opportunity. Eligibility Criteria of Global Korea Scholarship 2024 in South Korea:

• All international students can apply.
• Korean citizens are not eligible to apply.
• A candidate applying for a graduate program must be under the age of 40 years.
• Master’s Program Applicant: Must hold a bachelor‟s degree or a level of education
• equivalent to or higher than a bachelor‟s degree.
• Doctoral Program Applicant: Must hold a master‟s degree or a level of education equivalent to or higher than a master‟s degree.
• Research Program Applicant: Must have received an invitation from one of the partner universities.
• A person who has already availed of the Korean scholarship is not eligible to apply.
• A candidate should be in good health.

Application Deadline:

• Every country’s Korean embassy and the domestic university have different deadlines, so hurry up and apply as soon as possible.

Benefits of the Korean Government Scholarship 2024:

The fully-funded scholarship in South Korea covers all expenses of the selected students. The scholarship will cover:

• Settlement Allowance: 200,000 KRW (offered once after entry to Korea)

How will the Global Korea Scholarship 2024 be awarded?
To apply for the Korean Government Scholarship Program 2024, there are two options. Either directly to the Korean domestic university or to the Korean Embassy in your nation. In order to apply, an applicant must send original or verified documentation to the Korean embassy.
Conversely, if a candidate applies directly to the university, all necessary documentation must be sent to the domestic university.
Whereas a candidate applying directly to the university may only apply to one, a candidate applying through the embassy may apply to three universities.
Students who make it through the second round of the Embassy track shouldn’t think of it as their last choice.

Letters of recommendation are required for the GKS South Korea Scholarship 2024.
