Eligibility Criteria for the MPI Europe Internships 2024-2025:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program, available full-time
Strong interest in migration, asylum, or integration
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong multitasking abilities
Proficiency in additional languages besides English (preferred)

Responsibilities of MPI research interns:
making a general scientific contribution on the subjects of migration, asylum, and integration
helping top management and other MPI Europe team members with a variety of duties
assisting in the distribution of publications and research results
observing and reporting on pertinent private and public occurrences
assisting with administrative duties
carrying out the gathering, analyzing, and interpretation of data
assisting in the writing of research papers, reports, and policy briefs
helping to arrange and taking part in workshops and conferences
